Throughout the wine regions of France the annual harvest brings people of all ages and backgrounds to pick the grapes. It’s hard and hungry work - traditionally the vineyard owners feed their temporary workers nourishing, hearty food to fuel the work in the vines. In "Recipes from the French Wine Harvest" Rosi Hanson describes the harvest cooking in wine-growing regions throughout France.

Rosi has been an acclaimed food writer, and wine columnist for Decanter for many years. I’m particularly thrilled that we shall share this evening with Rosi because this whole concept brings us closer to wine as people and place, rather than simply product.

Join author Rosi Hanson, chef Nolan Ledarney, and your ‘sommelier’ for the evening Linden Wilkie, for a very fun event. Nolan has chosen recipes from the book, and Linden has chosen wines to match from the wine regions the recipes come from. This intimate, single table event will be our chance to capture some French vineyard atmosphere here in Hong Kong.
