We have the great honour to welcome Philippe Blanc of Chateau Beychevelle to the tasting table this evening. Alongside a bottle of the 1945 I bought from a Swiss cellar, the remaining wines I am delighted to say will come directly from this 4th growth's St.-Julien chateau cellars. As such this presents the best chance possible to evaluate and enjoy vintages spanning 8 decades:
2005, 2004, 2003, 2000, 1999, 1996, 1989, 1986, 1982, 1975, 1953, 1945, and 1929.
