This small but important Graves property has made some of my very favourite wines of the appellation, particularly those classics made by Claude Ricard through to 1983. The 1961 was a real eye-opener and a highlight at a dinner I organised with Christie's last year. I was recently able to acquire from good provenance, bottles of back to the 1930s including a fine magnum of the 1950 (an underrated Graves year). Of course fine wines have been made since Ricard, though there was something of a dull period I think. We will cover the highlights from both periods: 2005, 2001, 2000, 1998, 1989, 1983, 1978, 1970, 1961, 1950, 1949, 1937.
