Though still in need of cellaring to show it's best I have enjoyed several bottles of this St.-Emilion 1er Grand Cru Classe B's 1998 vintage. Fragrant, somewhat solid in style but with a natural taste, this is classic St.-Emilion at its best. The chance to acquire some older bottles from fine cellars has allowed the assembly of a fine line up for this evenings event, including the 1929 E"Probably the best ever Fourtet. Positive.
