That's quite a hefty price tag for a tasting theme that could be done for a lot less, but I thought, 30 years on and all that, that we should do this properly. So, in addition to some known performers, all the top wines will be there. Served blind (with a crib sheet for those that don't go in for that sort of thing), this will be a chance to evaluate what at the time was considered a top vintage, and which has now begun to slip from memory. Don't be put off by tha. This 15 chateaux selection is classic stuff:
Chateaux Haut Brion, Lafite-Rothschild, Latour, Margaux, Mouton-Rothschild, Cheval Blanc, Ausone, Petrus, Lafleur, La Mission Haut-Brion, La Tour Haut-Brion, Palmer, Leoville-Las-Cases, Pichon-Lalande and Domaine de Chevalier.
