This evening we put these two fine grands crus sites in the spotlight. Mommessin's monopole Clos de Tart will be paired vintage by vintage with Domaine des Lambrays' Clos des Lambrays. Both have a lot in common Ebeing large vineyards, both lying in Morey-St-Denis and both having had a long unbroken periods of ownership. Both have also enjoyed something of a renaissance since the mid-1990s with the arrival of new management at each domaine. Yet each express a quite different terroir and philosophy. Anthony Hanson MW will lead us through five pairs E2005, 2003, 2001, 1999 and 1995 with an older vintage from each domaine to finish.
