  • Places to tasting events may only be secured once full payment has been received. As tickets to an event run out, tickets will be allocated in the order in which orders are received (together with payment). Tickets listed are subject to availability.
  • The right to refuse admission is reserved. Please note that our main venue - The Institute of Directors Building at 116 Pall Mall - has a dress code for entry to the building. To quote from their notice on this: You are respectfully reminded that the Institute of Directors operates a strict dress code. Smart casual dress is essential. This means that members or their guests wearing jeans, trainers, t-shirts or shorts will be refused entry.

Terms and Conditions - Sale of Wine

  • Prices are duty paid and inclusive of VAT, unless otherwise stated.
  • Deliveries to the mainland UK will be charged at £9 per case, inclusive of VAT.
  • Each order must equal or exceed 9 litres of wine, to one address. In other words - 12 x 750ml bottles, or 6 x magnums, or 24 halves, etc. Cases may be mixed, where wines are available from us in bottle quantities.
  • The quality of "new release" wines is guaranteed. "New Release" wines shall be interpreted as those of a vintage 5 years old or less, or older at the discretion of The Fine Wine Experience. "New release" wines found to be out of condition, may be returned within 14 days for a full refund.
  • Wines not deemed to be "new release" wines, are sold on an "as is" basis. Care is taken by The Fine Wine Experience to source wines of good provenance and of good condition. Wines are also described as accurately as possible, and prices reflect the condition of individual bottles for factors such as ullage, label and capsule condition. Digital photographs can also be taken of older bottles, and e-mailed to customers on request. Once sold, we cannot be held responsible for wines subsequently found to be out of condition, although at our complete discretion, we will consider a refund or replacement on an individual basis.
