Mid ruby – a fairly light depth of colour; red berry fruit on the nose with cracked pepper and notes of beef – an expressive nose; lovely ripe succulent fruit on the palate, moderate concentration, some complexity, and noticeable alcoholic warmth on the finish. This is a lighter-styled La Chapelle, balanced and harmonious.
