Very deep ruby with just a touch of maturity on the rim; Quite sweet nose – spicy with cracked pepper and a medicinal note; rich on the palate with glycerol texture, decadent fruit and sweet herbs on the slighty hot finish. A little ‘cooked’ I thought, but certainly decadent.

Ruby with bricking edge. Complex nose of blackberry and black raspberry fruits w/ cracked pepper. Excellent depth without being overly extracted or flabby; brilliant focused fruit; full body, expansive and ripe w/ excellent supporting structure; excellent potential; decadent ripe style. Better than 1990 for consuming during the next 15 years (to my taste).
