Healthy ruby with a bricky rim – a more ‘normal’ appearance compared to the dense 1990; fragrant savoury aromas; soft, fragrant and supple compared to the 1990 – open and ready to drink. Very pinot-like wild strawberry fruit, expressive though still with de Vogüé’s characteristic firmness of structure from the tannins and acidity. Very good.
