Our bottle was top shoulder, with a crumbly cork.
Garnet core with a broad bricky rim - fairly mature colour; lovely aroma - complex, with sage, fruit, cedar, mineral, tar; lovely and soft on the palate, fully resolved tannins, long and elegant. Fairly light-bodied and drying out a little, what this lacks in oomph it makes up for in aromatics and charm.
