2ème Cru Classé, St Julien
Deep ruby core, red youthful rim; ripe, coluptuous lifted aromas, slightly piquant but complex with cedar notes; ripe, taut, concentrated, a little 'raw' right now with firm acidity and firm tannin on the finish, but this has wonderful aromas and good concentration to match the firm frame on the palate. A star wine of this very good vintage, but you will need to be patient.
