2ème Cru Classé, St Julien
Fairly dense deep ruby right to the rim; ripe, plump and oaky right now on the nose; lovely, taut, plump ripe fruit with good concentration, concealing pkenty of ripe tannin on the finish. This has really good fruit concentration and balance and should age well. A relative bargain and one of the wines of the night.
