Deep colour, fairly opaque centre, with just a touch of maturity on the rim and thick legs; smoked meats, herbs and coffee grounds on the nose; ripe fruit - intense and complex on the palate, lovely ripe entry, some glycerol, ripe fruit and polished tannins. Thick, youthful, long and very fine. A pure, classic syrah, and a pleasure to drink now. This will keep for a long time.

This was my favourite wine for drinking now.
