Opaque black cherry with purple rim and glass-staining density; lovely voluminous cassis aromas with cedar and spice and oak evident, with a touch of tar – very youthful; fairly thick-textured, blackcurranty with some glycerol, fine moderate acidity and ripe moderate tannins on the finish. Long fruity aftertaste. More sweetness than extract, but a very good 2ème vin.
