2ème Cru Classé, St.-Estephe
Fairly opaque, deep ruby with ruby rim; sweet vanillin oak, spices – the fruit fairly reticent on the aroma but sweet; firm in the mouth with piquant acidity, good fruit and a dry, firm, tannic finish. Moderately concentrated and a little ‘pinched’ – it’s acidity and tannic structure leaving it a little ‘hard’ in style.
