Brilliant mid-gold; creamy, honeyed crème brûlée aromas, with smoky notes – quite complex; very rich on the palate, with great purity, richness and awesome length. This is unquestionably a great, classic wine, though for me the richness and sweetness left it feeling a little too sweet, despite its good acidity.
