Deep ruby, youthful colour with a fine hue; sweet, ripe fruit – real crushed raspberry character, spicy notes (Michael Broadbent mentioned ‘gingerbread’), also some savoury notes – very good; rich, smooth entry, very supple in the mouth, yet with firm ripe tannins and good acidity. Well balanced. Lovely. (My WOTN – though I was alone)
