The surprise of the night for me, even though I had this at a CECWine dinner last year. This was a particularly good bottle perhaps?: Very youthful colour, light in intensity (i.e. transparent), but very youthful shade; macerated cherries and mocha on the nose (with some swirling); sweet, rather supple, open-knit wine with a touch of dilution but only the faintest hint of unripeness showing itself on the acidity on the moderately tannic finish. Food would easily deal with that. Quite enjoyable and a superb effort for the vintage.
