Mature appearance, clear, amber rim; sweet, very mature aroma, farmyardy, but with lovely piquant sweet – sweet & sour – nose, as well as herbs. The nose gives the impression of a lighter style of wine to follow. On the palate: soft, mature, but lacking some substance, good ripeness but not great complexity and dried out a bit on the finish.
