85% cabernet sauvignon; 10% merlot; 5% petit verdot.

Quite deep core, mature edge; sweet, lifted nose with a touch of volatile acidity; rich sweet palate, very thick-textured and then very tannic on the finish which shuts the wine down. There’s a touch of bitterness and the acidity gives a peaked quality to the tannins on the finish. Fully mature. (Jasper Morris noted some chocolaty notes which for him indicated full maturity).
