In wooden frames to protect the old mould coating on the bottle.
'Several notes, first in 1973. In 1989: warm amber with gold highlights; very rich, baked apples, raisins and honey: TBA-like sweetness and intensity yet not heavy. Soft, fat, glorious flavour. Two notes in 1994, both noting a pale lime rim, great depth, a whiff of caramel, high acidity. Last tasted at the Musée Baccarat in Paris, May 2000. At best *****.' Michael Broadbent
