2ème Cru, St Julien. Top Shoulder, good appearance.
Amber colour, still with some ruby at the core; slightly maderised and acetic aromas pointed to trouble ahead; on the palate this fell apart fairly quickly, but still delivered some lovely fruit before turning quite maderised on the finish. Would once have been very fine, but this bottle didn't make it.
