2ème Cru, St Julien. Level - upper shoulder.
Light amber colour - quite mature looking, but clear and haelthy; sweet, lifted biscuity aromas, cedar and a touch of fruit; on the palate very elegant, fine, and with a long finish. Past it's prime, but still delicious.
This was the favourite wine for some at our Ch. Léoville Las Cases vertical, including Michael Broadbent MW.
