2ème Cru, St Julien. Level top shoulder.
Amber colour with some ruby at the core; lovely sweet aromas - biscuits, game and some fruit still; sweet fruit on the attack, fairly full-bodied with notes of herbs, and quite long on the palate. Later a note of volatile acidity suggesting this should be drunk up. For me, a lovely mature claret.
