How can I check the stock location?  

When you look at the right hand column of our retail wine list you will see ‘location’. 

Wines marked “HK” are in our HK storage facility and ready for delivery within 1-2 business days.

Wines marked “HK-Shop” are available in our Sheung Wan shop for in-store purchase. 

Wines marked “HK-Prearrival” are still in transition and will be expected to arrive HK in around 2-4 weeks upon payment confirmation.
Wines marked “En-Primeur” are sold ‘en primeur’, so we will arrange delivery to you once we have received the wines, ex-cellars.

 

What are the different "unit of sale"? 

In the ‘unit of sale’ column you can see the minimum quantity for each line (1 = by the single bottle, or magnum; “OC3” means cases of 3 bottles, and “OC6” means cases of 6 bottles). 

 

Where are your wines sourced? 

We take provenance very seriously and take meticulous care in buying from only the most reliable sources. We have many years of experience in this area. Afterall we open a lot of these mature bottles in our dinner events so better be extra careful with bottle conditions.

We offer free delivery within Hong Kong (Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and New Territories) for orders over HKD 10,000. Wines with unit of sale of “OWC” or “OC” must be purchased in full case.

 

What is the payment method? 

Payment may be made via bank transfer (HSBC) or cheque by mail, and it is due upon receipt of invoice.

 

Can I pay by COD?

We cannot accept cash or check on delivery because the delivery team is independent from our company and cannot take payment for our behalf. 

 

Can I pay by Credit card? 

Credit card payment is available in-store or online through Paypal @3% charges. The easiest way is to pay by HSBC wire transfer and we can arrange next day delivery after the payment has been confirmed. Otherwise, we can have the wines delivered to our Sheung Wan shop and you can come pay by cash. 

 

Do you offer any credit period?

We're afraid we cannot offer any credit at the moment. All payments must be received prior to organizing delivery (without exceptions).

 

Do you have a shop? 

We operate one of Hong Kong’s largest stock lists of fine wine at competitive prices. We keep a small inventory in our Sheung Wan shop (85 Queen's Road West, Sheung Wan) for immediate purchase, and all our remaining stocks in a specialist wine storage facility in Tsing Yi. Deliveres are arranged to our customers in temperature-controlled vehicles. If you would like to meet us for a chat, we’d be delighted to meet you and discuss your needs. Just get in touch!

 

What is the delivery method and charges?

Most of our wines are all stored in the warehouse (JAS-Forwarding in Tsing Yi) and they will deliver the wines for us. 

Delivery can be arranged within 1-2 business days upon order & payment confirmation. 

Delivery time: Monday – Saturday 10am -6pm (Closed on Sundays & Public holidays)

Local delivery charges apply [HKD 180 up to 4 cases, HKD 40 per case thereafter].

Free local delivery (Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and New Territories) for orders over HKD 10,000

Weekly consolidated delivery to Discovery Bay, Tung Chung and HK International Airport (additional delivery charges applies)

 

Do you ship overseas? 

We only sell our wine for Hong Kong delivery or collection. Regarding shipment overseas, you will have to arrange your own carrier and have them pickup the wines from our warehouse. However, if you do not have a shipper I can put you in touch with our warehouse partner.

 

If you are visiting Hong Kong from overseas, then our advice would be to arrange any wine orders just before you come to Hong Kong, and then settle by bank transfer. We can then arrange to deliver the wines to you at your hotel, or we can arrange another collection point e.g. our shop. 

 

Can you reserve wines for me? 

Wines cannot be reserved, and they are offered on a first-come first-served basis, subject to remaining unsold. All wines are confirmed with payment on receipt of invoice.

Title to all wine remains with The Fine Wine Experience (HK) Ltd until paid for in full

 

Can I store the wines with you and collect them later?

No problem for collecting the wines later. We just need the payment from you first in order to confirm the wines. If you wish to collect the wines in a month that’s fine, otherwise a minimum monthly storage fee of HKD200 @HKD20/case will be charged.
