Having started his career as a graphic designer, Gaspard returned to the motherland in 2013 and took over his family estate (3.1 hectares) in 2018. His name may sound familiar and rightly so because he comes from a long line of Brochet families in the area and is the nephew of Emmanuel Brochet. Their holdings are all on the northern side of the Montagne de Reims in Ecueil, Sacy and Villers aux Noeuds.

His method is actually quite simple: The focus is, through no addition winemaking, to create an expression of the personality of each terroir, vintage, and varietal through single plot , single vintage, and varietal bottlings. The grapes are picked at a higher maturity to avoid any need for chaptalisation, the wines spend about 10 months in barrel for vinification. The wines are not racked, but stirred about 15-25 times depending on the cuvee. The wines are aged for 24 months then hand riddled in the cellar for about 8 weeks.
