Our selection this evening focuses on top single climat/terroir plots, that over the course of the dinner will really express what Moulin-à-Vent is capable of.

When you look back at old European wine lists from the 19th and early 20th century, it is clear that Moulin-à-Vent needed no introduction via 'Beaujolais', in the same way that Gevrey-Chambertin needed no introduction via 'Côte d’Or'. Moulin-à-Vent was renowned both for its quality and longevity.

Edouard’s family bought the château in 2009, and they have been key figures in the Beaujolais renaissance we’ve benefitted from this century. Established in 1732, Château du Moulin-à-Vent works by hand, with low yields and old vines, to bring the full potential and range of expressions possible within the Moulin-à-Vent Cru.

We’ll also go deep into the vintages that are now really coming to life in the cellar, guided by Edouard Parinet, who will share the evening with us in person.
